The Secret Language of Your Body

This is a book I’ve worked with deeply and returned to again and again in my own work. It profoundly shifted how I understand the way the body communicates through sensation, pain and emotion — and how healing can begin when we learn to listen rather than override.

I worked with this book during a time when I was navigating thyroid issues and chronic hip bursitis, and it opened my eyes to a more connected and intuitive way of relating to my body. It supported me in moving away from simply managing symptoms, and towards understanding what my body was asking for beneath the surface.

Through this work, I began to recognise the innate intelligence within the body — and the quiet, powerful guidance that becomes available when we learn how to access it.

This is another book I have worked extremely deeply with and revisit as a core resource of wisdom.

This book offers a deeply feminine perspective on returning to the wisdom of the body — guiding you to reconnect with the womb as a centre of intuition, creativity and inner knowing.

It supported me in recognising the womb as a powerful energetic and emotional centre, and in understanding the importance of allowing the body — particularly the womb and heart — to lead, rather than relying solely on the mind.

Through this lens, it opens a different way of relating to life and creation — one that is more cyclical, intuitive and grounded in the body’s natural rhythms.

A supportive and expansive read for women feeling called to reconnect with their feminine essence and inner guidance.

 


Grow A New Brain

Book by Alberto Villoldo

 

This book offers a gentle yet powerful perspective on rewiring the brain through awareness, perception and intentional change. It supports the kind of inner work that creates lasting shifts — not just mentally, but on a deeper, embodied level.

It deepened my understanding of how the brain and mind shape identity, and how important it is to bring conscious attention to the way we think, respond and process our experiences, as well as the primary physiological centres of the brain. It also highlights the conditions the brain needs to function more optimally, offering a more supportive foundation for clarity, resilience and change.
